April 14, 2011

New Haven, Connecticut – April 14, 2011

Woodbridge, a middle market investment bank, has announced that Elliot T. Williams has joined the Company as a Managing Director. Williams, the former President of Mirus Capital Advisors, is a successful M&A executive and middle market investment banker with over 17 years of advisory experience. Williams has managed over 100 middle market transactions in a variety of industries with particular focus on technology-enabled services, IT services, outsourcing and contract staffing.

“When Robert invited me down to see what they were building, I was amazed by the model they were creating,” states Williams, “Woodbridge has the opportunity to build the first truly global brand in middle market banking under one roof.”

Williams is contributing to the firm’s strategy and management, helping the team manage its rapid growth. “We are very excited about Elliot joining our firm. Having built a successful middle market investment bank, he brings new ideas and perspectives to our team every day,” stated Robert Koenig, President and Founder of Woodbridge. “He is helping us refine our vision and strategy as we grow, while managing some of our key growth initiatives.”

Woodbridge has developed a global network of middle market M&A advisors that rely on the firm for regulatory and back-office support. One of Williams’ initial roles is running the recruitment and screening of new Industry specific M&A advisors for Woodbridge. “Woodbridge’s one-of-a-kind marketing capabilities, global presence and world-class back-office combine to create a perfect platform for serving middle market owners and deal makers alike,” said Williams. “When you combine this with the fact that Woodbridge is originating new clients for its M&A advisors, I believe we have the most compelling network in the middle market.”

Elliot is a graduate of Babson College, the former President of ACG Boston and sits on several boards. He received Mass High Tech’s All-Star Award for Finance in 2005.

Woodbridge is a middle market investment bank focused on transactions between $10 million and $250 million in value. The Company operates around the world with offices in the US, Canada, Central & South America, Europe and Asia.
